Coaches in Mind believes that the very best healthcare is delivered by those who are confident in their role, excited about their future development and able to embrace all aspects of their lives with passion. We want all healthcare professionals to be the best that they can be whatever career path they take. Coaching is the golden thread that can deliver this reality. Our background of working in healthcare and with healthcare professionals has given us the knowledge and experience to help you deliver the results you are looking for.


What is Coaching
Coaching is a series of confidential conversations between coach and coachee. These conversations are based on mutual trust and respect where the former creates a safe, supportive but challenging space for the latter to explore, to grow and to develop thoughts and ideas. It is a journey – and like all journeys, there may be diversions and bumps in the road. But it is what the individual learns on that journey that is often of more value than getting to the destination. We believe that coaching can be a transformational experience and that those who fully engage in the process will reap the benefits.
Who we are
Coaches in Mind was founded by two midwives, Denise Linay and Helen Rogers. Both have extensive knowledge and experience in midwifery and healthcare. They are qualified coaches specialising in career and leadership coaching.

Our chapter, Coaching – the golden thread of change, defines coaching, distinguishes it from mentoring and therapy, and outlines essential coaching skills such as active listening, questioning, feedback, and empathy. It emphasises the value of a coaching mindset in leadership, career development, wellness, and addressing workplace issues.
